Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn, ripe and husked
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Lime wedges, optional
  • Cilantro, optional, 1 tbsp

Method

  1. Remove and discard corn husks and silk. Rinse kernels under cold water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. Place corn on a plate. Drizzle olive oil, then hand-rub to ensure full coating around each ear.
  3. Season generously with sea salt and black pepper.
  4. Place the corn in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, then check tenderness with a fork.
  5. Brush the warm corn with lime juice and top with cilantro if using.

Notes

Blot corn after washing to maximize crispiness.
Spread oil evenly for uniform browning.
Turn corn midway through cooking for symmetrical char.
Add minced garlic or chili flakes for a triple-crisp effect.
Optional toppings: serve with sour cream or vegan butter.
