Ingredients
  

  • Cream cheese, 8 ounces, softened
  • Sour cream, 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar, ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon
  • Green grapes, 2 pounds, washed
  • Red grapes, 2 pounds, washed
  • Light brown sugar, 2 tablespoons
  • Pecans, ½ cup, chopped

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add washed green and red grapes to the bowl.
  4. Gently fold grapes into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle light brown sugar over the salad.
  6. Add chopped pecans, tossing to coat.
  7. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for the richest flavor.
Seed red grapes for a less bitter taste (optional).
Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
For portability, layer in mason jars for picnics.
