Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create the spice blend.
- Scrub the potatoes and cut them into uniform chips; pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels.
- Toss the potato chips with one tablespoon of olive oil and half of the spice blend; arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a large skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat and add the ground beef.
- Cook the beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, and stir in the remaining spice blend; sauté until the beef is fully cooked.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice in a small bowl to make the burger sauce.
- Assemble the bowls by placing a base of shredded lettuce, topping with the seasoned beef, crispy potato chips, cheese, and pickles.
- Finish by drizzling the homemade sauce over each bowl before serving.
Notes
Store the components in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the beef and potato chips separately to maintain the best texture. If you prefer a dairy-free option, use a compliant nut-based cheddar shred.
