Method
- Whisk coconut aminos, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, honey, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to make marinade
- Add salt, pepper, and vegetable oil to marinade
- Place tuna steaks in a non-reactive dish, pour marinade over them
- Chill for 30 minutes (do not marinate longer than 2 hours)
- Preheat grill to high heat
- Grill tuna 3–4 minutes per side (avoid overcooking)
- Rest for 3 minutes before serving
