  • Reduced-sodium soy sauce – 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce – 3 tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1/4 cup
  • Lemon zest – 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 3–4 tbsp
  • Black pepper (ground) – 1/2 tbsp (or 1 tsp for sensitivity)
  • Flat-leaf parsley (chopped) – 2–3 tbsp

Method
 

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl and mix well
  2. Marinate chicken breasts for 40 minutes to 6 hours
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F/200°C)
  4. Grill chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), 8–12 minutes total
  5. Brush remaining marinade onto chicken for extra flavor
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before serving
