Ingredients
  

  • 4½ tablespoons sour cream
  • 4½ tablespoons light mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smooth Dijon mustard
  • ¾ teaspoon dried tarragon
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 diced apple (Fuji, etc.)
  • 1 large diced celery rib
  • 3 tablespoons minced red onion
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, vinegar, mustard, tarragon, dill, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Fold in diced apple, celery, and red onion.
  3. Shred rotisserie chicken and stir into dressing mixture.
  4. Add cheddar cheese (if using) and gently fold until combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Substitute Greek yogurt for mayo for a tangy twist
Replace red onion with green onion if preferred
Use smoked paprika instead of tarragon for depth
Omit cheese for a vegan-friendly version
Refrigerate leftovers up to 2 days
